Distillation is the process of refining CBD & CBG extract to remove unwanted fats, pigments, and other undesirable compounds found in the original plant material. CBD or CBG crude is extracted from the hemp biomass, and undergoes further refinement utilizing our state-of-the-art distillation equipment to produce CBD or CBG distillate. Distillate is an almost pure form of extract that contains a potent concentration of active cannabinoids and can be used to create CBD & CBG isolate with further refinement. Distillate can be used as a smokable concentrate in the form of CBD oil cartridges, or infused into a wide variety of consumable hemp products. Consumable hemp products include CBD gummies, topical CBD salve cream, CBD & CBG tinctures, and water soluble CBD products. Distillate is often a full spectrum, or a broad spectrum extract. Broad spectrum CBD distillate contains less of a wide range of compounds but is sought after for the THC-free product market. Our broad spectrum distillate has below 0.1% THC. The distillation process allows us to target specific compounds that are desired as well as target undesirable impurities such as heavy metals, pesticides, fats and pigments. Using distillation we can adjust the temperature and the pressure of our distillation equipment and ensure that just desired compounds are extracted.
